In late 2024, Catherine was appointed as an Honorary Wildlife Police Officer (HWPO) under the Zambia Wildlife Act (Gazette Notice No. 1352 of 2024), a role she will proudly hold for three years. This prestigious appointment is a testament to her deep-rooted commitment to conserving Zambia’s ecosystems, protecting its wildlife, and promoting sustainable tourism.

Holding a valid Professional Guide’s Permit, Catherine is authorized to lead safaris in premier Zambian national parks, including:
- Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park: Known for its proximity to Victoria Falls and its incredible wildlife, including the endangered white rhino.
- Kafue National Park: One of Africa’s largest national parks, home to diverse species and untouched wilderness.
